This is “Glaucoma National Knowledge Week” 19 - 25 November

EVSL.jpgThis week sees the launch of the Eyes and Vision Specialist Library (EVSL)  Glaucoma National Knowledge Week which presents the collection of evidence that has emerged in the past 12 months. 

For the purpose of the knowledge week, the term glaucoma is used to cover primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) and normal tension glaucoma (NTG).   Ocular hypertension is also included as it is considered a strong risk factor for developing glaucoma.  Angle closure glaucoma, paediatric glaucoma and the secondary glaucomas are not covered in this update.
