REC Crowned Trade Association of the Year

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has been awarded the title of the UK’s Trade Association of the Year by the Trade Association Forum.

With the announcement of this prestigious award, Helen Reynolds, the REC’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, said: “This accolade is a tribute to all the hard working staff at the organisation and especially Marcia Roberts, who sadly had to step down as CEO earlier this year, but who was instrumental in bringing us all up to this outstanding level”.

Judges were unanimous in their decision to give the REC the top award. They praised the REC for its work – its professionalism and persuasive crusading campaigning within the sector. They also noted its important work on legal issues as well as furthering membership numbers. 

It was a double celebration for the REC as they also picked up the award for the Best Membership Pack.

 As a corporate member of the REC, it was nice to see the body recieving just reward within the sector
