What do you want from me?
I am halfway through what is turning into a very busy week and after a conversation with a number of clients, candidates and people outside the industry, I was left wondering what exactly clients and candidates want out of a recruitment consultancy and how does this vary with the level of the role and urgency of the situation?
If we exclude the basic fundamentals such as the correct match of skills, salary, location, culture and ethos but what matters outside of this? Is it service? Value for money? (Clients only, obviously!) speed of service? Getting on with person on the end of the phone? Or is just as simple as finding a solution as soon as possible and the rest doesn’t matter?
I believe that how we do it is as important as the result but what does everyone else think? What is important to you?
