AOP - Student Conference at Butlins, Skegness on November 1st & 2nd 2008.
The Association of Optometrists is holding its very first Optometry Student Conference at Butlins, Skegness on November 1st & 2nd 2008.
This event offers students important career advice and guidance on their pre-registration year, as well as providing the opportunity to network with fellow undergraduates from across the country. An exhibition will give you access to employers, industry and equipment suppliers (with the opportunity to win prizes too). Lectures are being carefully designed to give delegates a chance to improve their clinical skills, hone their interview techniques, explore career options and much more!
A firework display will kick-off the social programme for the Saturday evening followed by the first AOP Student Eye Ball!
Who should attend?
· All undergraduate students studying optometry are invited to this event.
Conference tickets cost £65 and include return travel from each of the eight UK based universities that offer the optometry degree.
