All seeing sunglasses, whatever next?
Whilst browsing the internet looking for sunglasses, I found this on the BBC website about a pair of sunglasses which have been developed by Hewlett Packard researchers.
The sunglasses sport a camera which constantly takes images of what the wearer sees, the images are then stored complete with information on where and when the photo was taken and can then be downloaded for your perusal.
Now I was thinking that sounded like a good idea, expecially as I am constantly forgetting my camera on days out and the suchlike, however the article then voiced some concerns over privacy issues. The concern was that people could walk around all day taking pictures of people without them being aware of it.
What does everyone else think?

Nice looking pair of specs, David, but ooh, can’t say I am keen on the idea of photos beng taken when I am not aware. Great if you are working for MI5 though!

Mmmmm - they might want to make the camera a bit smaller if that is the intended use. Not exactly covert…
